Acupuncture
Acupuncture is a gentle, effective therapy that supports your body’s natural ability to heal and rebalance. Very fine, sterile needles are placed at specific points on the body to improve circulation, reduce pain, calm the nervous system, and restore overall well-being.
What to Expect
During your first visit, we’ll take time to go over your health history, current concerns, and goals for treatment. From there, I’ll create a personalized treatment plan tailored to your needs.
Most treatments involve resting comfortably with needles in place for about 20–30 minutes. Many people feel deeply relaxed during this time—some even fall asleep.
Depending on your condition, your session may also include supportive therapies such as cupping, gua sha, or moxibustion. These techniques help improve circulation, release muscle tension, and enhance the overall effectiveness of your treatment.
You may experience:
A sense of calm or heaviness
Gentle tingling or warmth at the needle sites
Relief that builds over the next few hours to days
Acupuncture works best as a series of treatments, especially for chronic or long-standing conditions.
